Health Data Movers Appoints New Board Members
Health Data Movers (HDM), today announced the appointment of Monica Gupta and Alyssa Rapp to the HDM Board of Directors, effective April 1, 2021. Following the appointment of Ms. Gupta and Ms. Rapp, the Board will comprise five directors, two of whom are independent.

Alyssa’s entrepreneurial success as a founder of Bottlenotes and CEO at Surgical Solutions, paired with Monica’s public company achievement at DocuSign and prior executive roles in provider organizations like Stanford Health, will bring HDM’s leadership to the next level as we grow our business and pursue our mission to improve patients’ lives.”
Ms. Gupta has served as Vice President, Global Operations, at DocuSign, a leading e-signature and agreement cloud company, since 2018. Prior to that, Ms. Gupta served as the Associate Chief Information Officer of Stanford Health Care from 2011 through 2017, an internationally recognized academic health system for providing leading-edge acute and specialty care. Before joining Stanford, she held numerous positions at Oracle Corporations (formerly Sun Microsystems), a multinational computer technology corporation, from 1997 through 2009. She has previously served on the Executive Advisory Boards of Intel Corporation and Imprivata. Ms. Gupta received her Bachelor of Arts with honors in Economics and Psychology from Punjab University and Master of Business Administration from California State University. She brings a track record of over two decades of growth, execution, and driving digital transformation at scale.

Ms. Rapp served as a managing partner at AJR Ventures, a strategic advisory firm for Fortune 500, $500MM+ privately-held companies, and private equity firms on their new business unit/new market development, digital, and e-commerce strategies from 2015 to 2018. Prior to this, Ms. Rapp served as the founder and chief executive officer of Bottlenotes, Inc., the leading interactive media company in the U.S.
wine, craft beer, and artisanal spirit industries from 2005 to 2015. Ms. Rapp has been the CEO of Surgical Solutions, a company that offers handling of scopes, repair maintenance management, and access to capital to increase physician satisfaction, since 2018. Ms. Rapp was appointed to serve on the Illinois Housing Development Authority board of directors from 2015 to 2019. Ms. Rapp received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History of Art from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
